This financial year has seen Mercy Community continue to support and inspire people to live healthy, connected lives within inclusive communities. The 2020-21 Annual Report theme ‘Our impact, our stories’ captures our work over the past 12 months and the impact of our programs and services.

We welcomed the coming together of Mercy Health and Aged Care Central Queensland (MHACCQ) and Mercy Community in November 2020 as part of a decision by our governing body, Mercy Partners to harmonise its aged care ministries which was previously under Mater Health.

For the first time, we consolidated their reports.

MHACCQ is a large, aged care operation in Rockhampton providing residential aged care, independent living units and community services. We share the legacy of the Sisters of Mercy and have strong alignment of mission and Mercy values.

The Annual Report provides a snapshot of the programs we deliver and the impacts they have, the projects we’ve undertaken, as well as the challenges we’ve faced and conquered.
