Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters

Warwick

Our Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY) is a two-year, home-based, early learning and parenting program for families with young children aged 4-5 years. It empowers parents to become their child’s first teacher as they get ready to commence their formal education journey. Mercy Community operates this program in the Warwick (Southern Downs) area.

Program activities

Home Tutors schedule regular weekly or fortnightly visits with families to discuss and work through the program activities in the family’s home. Families are also encouraged to participate in regular parent Group Meetings.
