Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) – Cultural Diversity Hub, Toowoomba

Fostering vibrant, inclusive communities for all.
Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) is funded by Queensland Government Multicultural Affairs and delivered through our Cultural Diversity Hub in Toowoomba.

CAMS exists to:

  • support migrant and refugee communities
  • raise awareness of multiculturalism
  • improve accessibility to services in the Darling Downs South West Region for people from culturally diverse backgrounds
  • increase community agencies’ capacity for appropriate service delivery to refugee and migrant settlers

Our CAMS Program has been recognised for its contribution to multiculturalism in the South West region, with the 2014 Friends of Africa Award at Parliament House Canberra and the 2012–2013 Business Excellence Award from the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
